    Joining Procedure

    • Waterborn contract is signed timeously on acceptance of application
    • Contracts are valid for an indefinite period or until termination of coaching has been received in writing
    • 3 month termination period in writing is required
    • Towards the end of the current season (usually late March), an “Application of Intent” is emailed to all current swimmers. A signed document must be returned as confirmation of continuance and to secure their place in the squad for the next season
    • It is at the coaches discretion at the end of each season to determine whether swimmers have met the required criteria of their current squad
    • Swimmers joining the club who were previously registered elsewhere must obtain release authorization before joining the club
    • Additionally, stroke correction swimmers are obliged to join the Waterborn Club, but are excluded from having to become Swim SA registered. All other squad members must be Swim SA registered
    • Notification of registration fees and relevant forms are emailed to all members prior to commencement of the new season

    Gala Deposits

    • It is most URGENT that all swimmers PLEASE DEPOSIT the MINIMUM OF R200 into Waterborn's banking account for gala fees.
    • Galas have begun and the onus is on you to make sure that there are enough funds in your account to cover gala fees.

    Objectives

    The objectives are to provide an environment in which every swimmer can attain their true potential both mentally and physically.

    This inter alia will include:
    • Access to the best possible coaching methods
    • Creating a sense of comradeship amongst the swimmers, sharing each others success and failures
    • To promote and develop Club Swimming and Team Spirit
    • To assist, and where possible, actively promote the image of swimming on a Club, Provincial and National level and to administer swimming in line with regulations promulgated by Central Gauteng Aquatics and Swimming South Africa.

    Membership & Constitution

    The Club shall be open to all persons who subscribe to the objectives of the Club, provided that in the interest of building and maintaining team identity and comradeship, Central Gauteng Aquatics swimming Members will be expected to join the squads trained by the Club's designated coaches.

    Exception to this may be allowed at the sole discretion of the Club’s Committee subject to such swimmers agreeing to support team identity and comradeship amongst team Members.

    There shall be only one category of member:
